We loved the tokens so much we got velvet bags so we could give sacks of gold as a prize.

This initial website design which is far slicker was ultimately shelved. The whole project moved so quickly there was never time to do the fully custom Wordpress build I had in mind. Utilizing Squarespace allowed us to launch quickly and adjust frequently. In the end those insights will drive a new version of this website which is likely to aggregate events from Facebook into Wordpress.

Wall of Hero's – As a kickstarter reward we offered to immortalize backers as 8-bit avatars on our Wall of Hero's Mural inside Chameleon Club. Also featured some  of the "legendary" bartenders.

Event promos

In our roll as Arcade overlords we produced and promoted a wide range of live entertainment; we did everything form dance parties to late-night comedy. Can I film and edit video promotions for no budget? Hell yeah. Did I do weird stuff clients would never go for? Sure did. What follows is a collection of a few favorites I found lying around. Some of it was hastily done, some of it I worked late into the night pushing pixels. The nature of the work was unpredictable and fun and I enjoyed the hell out of it.

Shout Out: This poster was commissioned from my friend Jared Adams. He also made the buttons. He's a swell guy and a great designer. I asked him for a poster that captured 80's/90's nostalgia and he turned over this lovely design. <3

Renovating the Lizard Lounge

The Lizard Lounge hadn't changed much since the Chameleon Clubs '07 renovation. The decor was drab and uninviting. We wanted to make it feel like your cool friends basement. You know the one. They had all the cool consoles and games, pool and air hockey. We infused some retro arcade vibes into the place with some additional lights and some paint. We commissioned an original Mural by Meech, created custom signage for the stage and added our wall of hero's. Throw in some funky lights and some couches and it's time to party.

Chalkboard illustrations were done via a projector and some patience.

Here's that slick mural by Mike (Meech) Ford. You can see some of it in progress above. Stellar work that ended up being one of my favorite parts of the renovation.

Patrons and some of the staff have been pretty rough on the mural. You'll notice a few scuffs – protect your murals folks.
